Inspired by the apparent second coming of the folk movement, CJ Krueger's ears are full of the sounds of Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, Joanna Newsom and others. Mix this with inspiration garnered from the likes of The Shins, The Decemberists and Elliott Smith, and you've got a sound that is both original and unsettlingly familiar.

CJ's labor of love has resulted in the completion of an album, entitled Sun Tales, (found it's entirety below,) and the Mercy Menace EP, who's title track is available for preview and download.

There is a certain blend of fictional and personal storytelling in these songs, coaxed from a grubby guitar and blended with smooth, intimate vocals that will leave you moved and tired; wrecked but very, very aware.

Raised in Rochester, Minnesota, CJ currently resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where he frequently collaborates with fellow artists, while remaining near-constantly inspired.
