Fraught, four alternative rockers from central Iowa, are on the threshold of something big. Walking the line between teenagers and adults, they defy the musical immaturity that often comes with youth. The members of Fraught have had almost four years to collectively define their music—and it shows. Currently anticipating the release of their fourth effort, An Autumn Rapture, Fraught have no plans to slow down. The recent addition of a second guitarist is alone proof of their intention to accelerate progress.
In early 2003, Fraught formed as a cover band, and got their start at school dances and local community functions. Now, they play on slightly bigger stages, and their inspirations lie in the more profound aspects of living: purpose, love, and how everything faultlessly converges by something larger than life. Fraught is now signed to Resilient Sowndz.
After only two line-up changes in their past, Fraught is Austin Carlson, Nick Miller, Beau Hindman, and Ben McKinney. Despite their history, it’s clear their future is brighter than ever before.
