Traditional folk for families to share together, sharing music of heart, angst, humor, and fun with audiences of all ages -- all about how lives have always been awkward, vulnerable, and exciting.
Gigi Johnson -- Funny and warm mezzosoprano, mother of three, UCLA lecturer, and new media producer. Avid fan and amateur history buff of traditional folk music, 1700's through 1975. Passionate about getting groups of all ages to sing together again. Co-host on How2Kids (www.how2kids.com)
Mike Salas -- The "Mike" half of our team. Lively singer/guitarist/songwriter. Daytime: pre-K teacher. Concert personas: Gigi & Mike hootehannies as well as lead singer/guitar in rock band Satellite Dogs (http://www.myspace.com/satellitedogs). Guest for two years on A Place of Our Own on KCET-TV. Co-host on How2Kids (www.how2kids.com)
