I started playing guitar around age 16, and really just dabbled with it for the most part until around age 20. I joined the Navy and traveled the world during the early 90's, and played pretty regular until I was married in 1996. Music took a back seat to starting a family and "normal" behavior. In the end the relationship failed, and with my new found freedom I'm returning to what I love and what originally satisfied so many expressive needs for me.
I've had to work pretty hard to get close to the kind of player I once was, but have a lot of potential... I have a strong desire to succeed, and practice for at least an hour every day, closer to two most of the time. In the end, I've actually matured as a player - no longer attempting the super-shredder gun slinger thing as before - but drawing upon the experiences of my life as the primary catalyst... my music is meant as a "life soundtrack" of sorts.
